K12 offers students a choice over the summer.
Whether you want to use the summer months to catch up on your coursework or get ahead, K12 has condensed-length summer school courses available with multiple start dates for students in grades 9–12.
Summer school courses are completed on a 20-day schedule, and 28 courses are available. Condensed summer courses are not NCAA approved.
K12 International Academy also offers normally-paced, full-length terms that begin during the summer months.

Format Options
Four terms for condensed summer school courses are offered, and each term is 20 days long.
Students can earn one full credit by taking both A and B companion terms. A Terms are offered during Condensed Summer Terms 1 and 2, and B Terms are offered during Condensed Summer Terms 3 and 4.
For example, a student may choose to earn one full credit and complete both semesters of Algebra I by enrolling in MTH122AS Algebra I during Summer Term 1, and MTH122BS Algebra I during Summer Term 3.
