  11. Online Driver Education for Texas Students

    Online Driver Education for Texas Students-

    Help your students get road-ready with our 32-hour online driver education course offered through CyberActive. The Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) approves CyberActive Incorporated to offer an online driver education course. There are two types of instruction: block and concurrent. The block method allows students to complete the entire 32-hour online course before applying for a learner’s permit and enrolling in a driving school. The concurrent method requires students to apply for a learner’s permit after six hours of instruction. When the permit has been obtained, students must complete the remaining 26 hours of instruction while completing in-car training with a driving school. Lessons are timed, and students may only complete two hours of instruction per day.
