Help your students get road-ready with our 30-hour online education course offered through CyberActive. Approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (DOE), the course helps prepare new drivers for the roadway. This course qualifies teen students for possible driver education insurance discounts (please check with your insurance agent) and senior license at age 17.5 as long as the student also has six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction from a state-licensed driving school.

Assessment Information:

After each chapter, students take a short quiz that they must pass to proceed to the next section. Each quiz consists of multiple-choice questions that are designed to prepare the student for the final exam. The score obtained on the quiz will not count against the final course score.

The final exam is online and may be taken as many times as necessary until the student has scored 85 percent or better to complete the course.

 Enrollment Restrictions:

Students must be 15.5 years old to take this course and at least 16 to apply for a learner’s permit.

 Completion Certificate:

A Certificate of Completion is sent directly to the student. This certificate must be presented to the DOE along with a certificate proving completion of six hours of in-car training in order for the student to qualify for an insurance discount and a senior license.

 Course Highlights:
