I can help you with your writing to make it longer or shorter to meet assignment requirements very quickly. I am passionate about writing and British Literature. In my free time, I love to read, write, and play on my ipad as well as spend time with my family (usually watching movies). I’ve been teaching since 2005, and have been teaching online since 2011. I am qualified to teach all Language Arts courses and Sociology.

Understanding what you read is just as important as saying the words in a sentence, and I can help you with Reading Comprehension. I really like teaching grammar and explaining the parts of speech in a sentence (nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc.). I can diagram a sentence and teach you how to do it as well.

I like to help by showing multiple ways to get to an answer and to check/verify that it is correct. My favorite math area is trigonometry and all of the real world uses for this. I enjoy helping students feel more comfortable with math. I really enjoy middle school math; this is where the challenge and the fun begins. I was not a great math student in middle school, so I know what it is like to ask questions and participate in tutoring as a student. Math suddenly made sense in high school, so I encourage students to stay positive when the going gets tough in 6th/7th math, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra 1. I am certified to teach in Elementary K-6, Math 5-9, and Math 6-12. I have taught online since 2014. In my free time, I play the violin in my church orchestra, work in my garden, and help my husband in his furniture repair shop.
