This is the first semester of a two part course, offered over a condensed 4 week term.

Students read selections from British and world literature in a loosely organized chronological framework. Students complete guided and independent writing assignments that refine their analytical skills. They have opportunities for creative expression in projects of their choice. Students also practice test-taking skills for standardized assessments in critical reading and writing.
